Bryan and Brenda were off to the "Big City" on Air Force One.
The "Big City" was Seoul. We had a meeting at the American Embassy.
All of our friends were there!
Bryan spent some time talking to President Obama about his golf swing.
We ate lunch, took some photos, and had a lot of fun.
By the time the election results were announced, we were completely insulated from the outside world.
Seoul, Korea Temple
(We really did go to the U.S. Embassy in Seoul on Wednesday, November 9, which happened to be Tuesday, November 8 in the U.S. In addition to our meeting for Wardens - people who act as liaisons for larger groups of Americans in Korea in case of disaster or emergency - we also experienced "Election Watch", which included speeches, lots of big screens, and lots of photo ops. We really did escape the election results by attending the Seoul LDS Temple.)

WOW!! So happy you were able to go to Seoul! What a day-even "meeting" all the political celebrities, and oh yeah, the meetings and the temple.
ReplyDeleteA perfect place to be during the election!
